I've been told by many that I don't look my age and try to stay as active as I can. I consider myself well balanced and quite energetic. I enjoy sports, kayaking, going to the beach, taking a walk or just going for a drive. I’ve found that the colder weather seems harder to tolerate and prefer the fireplace. I enjoy traveling and look forward to see the USA in my lifetime. I love to dance, mostly ballroom but also enjoy just going out and listening to live music, like a local concert in the park. I’m not into the bar scene and having someone who has had too much to drink try to impress me is not my idea of having fun.
I’m not the type to take hours to get ready to go out and pride myself on be prompt. With that said I also don’t like to be kept waiting. I do work full time so my free time is precious to me and although I can drop what I’m doing to spend time with that special person, I also like to balance my time to do the necessities in life.
At our age we all have previous families and mine comes first on my list and expect the same for anyone I meet. I’m looking for someone who still has those basic old school values. That enjoys the outdoors, dancing, but who is also willing to share their experiences and skills with me. I believe that relationship’s start as friends and if something is going to be solid it will build from there. So there's no long unrealistic laundry list and description as to who I'm expecting to find. However I do believe that chemistry is important and usually comes within the first couple meetings. I am looking for someone within a reasonable distance and am not interested in traveling for a relationship. I show photos of myself and expect the same of anyone contacting me. No photo no response.
If this tidbit has captured your interest, contact me and let’s see if the chemistry will work. Thanks for your time and consideration. I look forward to talking to you.
Enjoy your day,
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
First dates are meant to get to know someone so the first meeting shouldn't be a place where it's overly noisy. Maybe a restaurant for either lunch or dinner. A walk though Mystic Village,on a boardwalk at the beach (weather permitting).
